Intelligent Carton Folding Machine
A carton erecting machine is an automated piece of equipment that folds flat cardboard sheets into three-dimensional cartons. It is widely used in packaging applications across industries such as electronics, toys, food, daily chemicals, apparel, and automotive products. The machine is driven by a PLC control system and automatically folds and forms the cartons through a dedicated forming tooling.
Description
The carton erecting machine mainly consists of a material storage magazine, a pick-up device, a folding and forming station, and a discharge mechanism. During operation, cardboard blanks are picked up from the storage magazine by the pick-up device (usually using vacuum suction cups) and transferred to the forming station. Subsequently, the blanks go through a series of processes in sequence, including box opening, flap folding, pre-folding, and press forming, until the flat cardboard is folded into the desired carton shape and then discharged via the output conveyor belt.
